Visa Requirements & b Taxes(Updated Travel Information):
It is the travelers responsibility to obtain the necessary Visa for India prior to travelling. All travelers to India, except the nationals of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh require a valid Visa to enter India. Visa’s must be obtained in advance.
The Govt of India has recently introduced an Electronic Travel Authorisation (Visa on arrival) facility, making it very easy for travelers to apply for and obtained there Travel Authorisation online. The Nationals of almost 140 countries are now eligible for Electronic Travel Authorisation (Visa on Arrival). The list of countries, for whose Nationals , this facility is currently available is (in alphabetical order)

The Electronic Travel Authorisation needs to be applied for online 30 days before the travelers intended arrival date. The Electronic Visa is granted via email, copy of which needs to be carried by the travelers. It is a mandatory requirement to carry a print of this Authorisation, failing which travelers may not be allowed to board their flight to India.
On arrival in India, the actual visa is stamped on the passport. The Electronic Travel Authorisation (Visa on Arrival facility) is currently available for travelers arriving into India’s International Airports.

All Tourists whose Nationality is not mentioned in this Electronic Visa Authorisation eligibility list , MUST obtain a valid Visa in advance, by contacting the Indian Embassy , High Commission , Consulate in their respective country before travelling to India.
Insurance: We strongly recomend that you purchase a comprehensive Travel Insurance policy prior to your India trip . Insurance should include coverage for personal accident, medical expenses, baggage loss, and cancellation or curtailment of your holiday. You must have adequate insurance, to cover you in the event you suffer a medical problem while travelling.
